Position Summary
The Deputy General Manager, Sales & Marketing will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and marketing functions, driving commercial performance, strengthening customer and channel development, and supporting sustainable business growth.
The role will focus on building a more structured, performance-driven, and data-oriented commercial organization while ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s sales and marketing strategy,
- Lead sales teams, field operations, and channel management activities,
- Drive growth within the existing customer base and support new customer acquisition,
- Identify market, customer, and channel growth opportunities
- Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance management processes,
- Manage pricing, campaigns, commercial agreements, and promotional activities,
- Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business and sales objectives,
- Strengthen brand positioning and customer experience initiatives,
- Monitor commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness,
- Develop regular management reporting and performance dashboards,
- Lead organizational improvements and strengthen sales and marketing processes.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or channel management,
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams
- Experience in multi-channel sales environments and field sales organizations,
- Strong background in sales performance management, KPI tracking, and reporting,
- Experience in marketing, campaign management, and customer development initiatives,
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on both growth and profitability,
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical problem-solving skills,
- Experience with CRM, ERP, BI, or similar business applications,
- Experience leading transformation, change management, or organizational development initiatives,
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills,
- Ability to travel
